A little about me.
My name is Craig Carter, and I love photography. I caught the shutterbug early in life when my parents gave young me an Instamatic camera and a roll of film. I didn’t get the chance to take many pictures as a child due to the expense, but got hooked anyway.
Later on, before digital photography was available, I inherited a 35mm Minolta Maxxum 7000. I wore that camera out. I spent a lot of time with it, and a lot of money, learning and practicing. I have some very fond memories of that time, and some very fond photographs.
I went on to earn two bachelor's degrees from Macon State College. One in Communications: New Media. One in Business: Production and Operations Management. I also have an Associate of Art's degree from the the Art Institute of Atlanta in Music Entertainment Management. My education provides me with critical thinking skills and analytical abilities to help navigate a variety of situations and environments making me capable of a variety of accomplishments working with a variety of people.
I worked in Atlanta doing media production for many years. I was a professional videographer, video editor, graphic editor, video engineer, sound man, line producer and more. I worked in dynamic, highly technical, scenarios with clients and associates of all types including corporate executives, union bosses, skilled techs, stage hands, public servants and folks just off the street.
I also worked at a popular local television station here in Macon, Georgia for many years. I worked behind the scenes in the engineering and production department as part of a team dedicated to bringing you news, sports and entertainment.
Now I am working on building my own business doing something I love. If you want to learn more about me you can check out my blog.
